BCCADDUBLIN – Beginning in July, the Small Business Center of Bladen Community College will offer free business workshops on campus and in the community.

Human Resources Management is scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, from 11 a.m. until noon. This seminar includes instruction on diversity, effective recruiting, effective hiring, retaining employees, and competing for good employees.

On Tuesday June 14, the Bladen County Public Library in Elizabethtown will host Getting Your Google Business Listing. The workshop includes discussions about online listings, what they are, how they originate, and how you can (or can’t) control what is displayed. The class begins at 2:30 p.m.

Also on Tuesday, June 14, the East Arcadia Campus will sponsor Social Media for Non-Profits. In this workshop, attendees learn how to use social media platforms to engage stakeholders, and those who help fund non-profit efforts. The class meets from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

How to Collect More Money in Less Time with Fewer Hassles! will meet on the main campus on Tuesday, July 19, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. in building 2, room 207.

Getting Your Business on Facebook is scheduled for Thursday, July 21, from 6:30 p.m.. until 9 p.m. in building 2, room 207, on the Dublin campus.

The seven part Entrepreneurs’ Academy seminar series occurs each Monday and Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Oakdale Home Center in Clarkton. The series teaches attendees how to write their own business plan.

All seminars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen Community College.
