Bladen County Board of Commissioners proclaim October 4th through October 10th, 2015, National 4-H Week in Bladen County at their meeting on Tuesday evening. Chairman of the board, Charles Ray Peterson presented a plaque of the proclamation to the Bladen County 4-H Club members.
According to the proclamation, the Board of Commissioners urge the people of community to take advantage of the opportunity to become more aware of this special program that enhances our young people’s interests in their futures as part of Bladen County 4-H Youth Development and to join us in recognizing the unique partnership between our county and our state University System.
Stacie Kinlaw, Bladen County 4-H Director announced Tractor Supply in Elizabethtown will be offering clovers for sale for $1 from October 7th until October 18th. All clover sales at the store will be donated to the local club.
