The Bladen County Teacher of the Year was Laura Grimes of East Bladen High School.John Fox was appointed Bladen County Heart Fund Chairman.
Sidney Thornton of Elizabethtown and H.J. White of Bladenboro were inducted into the North Carolina State Farm Livestock Hall of Fame.
