Bladen County is full of talented residents and the Cape Fear Farmer’s Market gives these artists the opportunity to showcase their work the first Saturday of every month in Elizabethtown.

There was such a large variety of art offered at the market today. Ginny Edge offered stained glass. Ed Harris brought watercolor paintings. Basket Making was sold by Janice Humphreys and Debbie King.  Sharon Robeson and Jane Singletary had stitching work available and Betty Williams had cross stitching. Gourmet snack and seasonings were brought by Gloria Siple. Sara Taylor sold jewelry.  Bud Lotz, with Bud’s Wood Works had birdhouses. Moffat Designs owner, Cathi Moffat, had great displays of handmade jewelry. Cheryl Thurston with CS Graphics brought handmade paper with hand paintings.

The creativity and pure talent from all the vendors was very impressive. The Cape Fear Farmer’s Market, located at 106 MLK Drive in Elizabethtown features hand-made crafts and art the first Saturday of every month.
