ElectionsThe Bladen County Board of Elections met on Tuesday afternoon and reviewed 105 mail absentee ballots.

Upon reviewing the ballots, the board approved 104 mail absentee ballots and one ballot was found to be incomplete. Board of Elections staff will attempt to notify the voter and have them come in and complete the ballot.

Also, Board of Elections Director Cynthia Shaw told the board Evans Computers has gotten all of the laptops that will be utilized for One Stop voting set up. Shaw told the board that everything is ready for the start of One Stop Voting on Thursday morning.

There will only be one polling location for One Stop voting for the June 7 Primary and it will be located at the Bladen County Public Library in Elizabethtown. The hours for voting will be Thursday, May 26, and Friday, May 27, from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Tuesday, May 31, through Friday, June 3, from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.; and Saturday, June 4, from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
