A lot is happening in our area this weekend. The fun starts on Friday morning with the Bladen County Special Olympics, then a ribbon cutting in Bladenboro at the Pawn South and the night will end with you choice of the Dixie Youth Movie Night at Watree Park in Bladenboro, or the Bladen We Care Gala at The Venue in White Lake.
Saturday continues with plenty of places to be in Bladen County. Take your animals to the Bladen County Rabies Clinics located throughout Bladen County. The Opening Ceremonies will be held for Dixie Youth.
If a fundraiser is what you are looking for there is the plate sale benefit for Garrett Smith, a Gospel Concert for Jerry Tew, and the 8K Trail Run and Walk to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
Jones Lake will be hosting an educational event about snakes and the Democratic Party will hold their convention. There will also be a East Bladen High School Reunion held at Lu Mil Vineyard.
Sunday is full of church services. The First Missionary Baptist Church will host a bring a co-worker to church day this Sunday.
