The Elizabethtown/White Lake Chamber of Commerce met Tuesday, April 14th, at the Cape Fear Farmer’s Market at 12 Noon for their monthly meeting. A presentation was given by the WBLA 1440 AM (AKA…Da’ Branch) Station’s Board of Directors members Arthur Bullock and Michael Boykin. Tre Duncan introduced the Chamber’s newest member, FirstSouth Bank represented by Pamela Morris.
Award recipients were also announced for the 2015 Annual Banquet Awards program to be held on June 16th at Lu Mil Vineyards at 6:30. Recipients will include: Caring Person Award – Walter Bullard; Outstanding Chamber Member of the Year – Alan Maynard; Outstanding Small Business Person of the Year – Ricky Leinwand of Leinwand’s of Elizabethtown; and Honorary Lifetime Chamber Membership Award – Harry Womble of Goldston’s Beach, White Lake.
