39 year old Ottis McGill of Clarkton was sentenced Tuesday to 19 to 25 years in prison for two robberies in the Wilmington area.
He entered guilty pleas earlier this year of robbing Western Union in downtown Wilmington of $6,000 in August 2013, and about a month later of robbing Newbridge Bank on Military Cutoff Road of more than $2,000.
He also admitted his status as a habitual felon, according to DA Ben David’s office.
McGill has prior convictions for common law robbery dating back to 1999.
