ClarktonTownMeetingClarkton- The Clarkton Town Council held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 6pm, when Mayor Whedbee called the meeting to order and gave the invocation. In the public forum, Stevie Craig, of the Clarkton Housing Authority, asked the board to consider the consolidation of the Clarkton and Elizabethtown Housing Authorities. It was determined that all board members will retain their seats after the consolidation, and then a motion was made and seconded. Craig will write a letter to the Elizabethtown Housing Authority requesting acceptance of the consolidation plan.

The application fee for Conditional Use permits on Solar Farms was held open until the next monthly meeting.

According to the spreadsheet on Utility Contracts, all delinquent accounts have been paid up to date.
