As the holiday season approaches, it is easy to get caught up in all of the things that you want, especially when you are a middle school student. This is not what happened at Elizabethtown Middle School last week as they participated in the Samaritan’s Purse International Relief project, Operation Christmas Child.
In a week’s time, the students collected enough items to completely pack 25 boxes and cover the shipping costs. The students gave graciously and demonstrated great humility as they donated to help make another child’s Christmas a little brighter.
The students are hoping to track at least one of the packages, so that students will be able to see a child open their shoebox.
