Dig out your favorite peanut recipe and brush up on your cooking skills! Make plans to enter the cooking contest during the Dublin Peanut Festival on September 19. Dishes will be judged in 3 categories including Candy, Bread and Dessert.
Contestants will be divided into 2 age groups: Youth (Ages 8 – 16) and Adult (Ages 17 – up). Age is determined by the age you will be on the day of the festival.
Cash prizes will be awarded in each category: 1st – $50, 2nd – $30 and 3rd – $20. All application must be received by Tuesday, September 15 at 5 p.m. For an application and a complete list of the rules, please call Sandra Cain at (910) 862-4591.
