Oftentimes I have thought some of my comments were ridiculous; but I didn't know how to spell it until you mentioned it. If you are referring to my gas prices, just trying to help out the motoring public in Mother Bladen. The rest of the stuff, no one knows whether I am joking but me.

Thanks. Gas is down to $239 per gallon over in Dublin.

By the way, Unknown, since you don't know your own self; look at it in black and white because BOL guidelines says your entry will be deleted. No location, no name, probably no email address. Have a Merry Christmas.

Bill, hope things are going well up in Charlotte for you and the family. It is good to know you are concerned about how folks are viewing your hometown. One thing is for sure, each of us need to stick to our own professions. Don't know much about crime scene investigations but one thing I do know is that there don't need to be a great number of people in there. Your hometown of Bladenboro has a competent police force, the people of Bladen County have elected a competent DA and his staff are competent people in their field, and the state of North Carolina has competent medical examiners as well as The SBI. These are the people who worked on this death from the beginning and if they need any additional help they naturally would call in a higher level of help (which they have). Have you interviewed the Mother of this young? If you interviewed her at the scene of the death of her son would she be in any kind of mental state to know anything that was going on? The truth may never be known in this case, but if it to be found; it will be found by the law enforcement people we elect and hire to do that job. It won't be found by organizations holding marches nor armchair investigators nor by news media that have printed so many variations of a single piece of evidence that it is pathetic. Stay tuned Bill, and please don't use such words as "p****d" on this great news source; The owner probably hasn't caught it yet. Besides, my three children and seven grandchildren may be reading these guestbook entries and I wouldn't want them reading such words; on second thought, maybe I would since a form of the word you used is in the Bible. God bless the Lacy family and God bless our little hometown.

GC, there should have been 650 law Enforcement Officers investigating the Hanging death of a 17 Year old on the Day of His Death. It may well have been a suicide but If it was My Child or Grandchild I would want any possible questions answered no matter who it pissed off.

His Mother said that the Police were rolling up the Crime scene Tape as She was identifying Her Son's body in the back of an Ambulance.

Maybe You don't have Children or Grand Children. :!cry:

Big difference in 250 people and 900 people. Must have been 650 law enforcement people over in Bladenboro yesterday. Man, what a waste of the naacp's money for postage alone for those 650 that didn't come. Looks like Dr. Barber's influence is on the wane. One thing is for sure, now that the FBI has been called in by the DA; no one will be telling them what to do, how to do, or when to do. Dr. Barber, please turn over all that evidence you have been denying the local law enforcement so they can put a quick end to their investigation.

By the way, Mother nature doesn't like it when people of any hue try to pit one law enforcement office against another law enforcement office.

Gas is going for $246 over in Dublin. That's 6 or 7 cents less than outlets over in Elizabethtown. Come to think of , that is my 6 or 7 cents worth for toady.

And remember Dr. Barbers own words; "the naacp is not a black organization". Maybe that is one reason his influence is on the wane.

Gas is #249 per gallon in Dublin.

The march.
One news source says it is a community march.
Another news source says 200 people have been invited.
Yet another source says people from all over NC will be in Bladenboro.
Still another news source says thousands will be in Bladenboro.

What is the true reason for the march? Rev. Barber says to either honor the memory of the deceased young man or to validate the entrance of the FBI into the case. According to the latest news release both of Mr. Barber's reasons for the march have now come to pass. If the FBI determines there was no foul play in this case, will Mr. Barber and his organization accept the FBI's decision?

In the final analysis, the march will accomplish only one thing; more copy for news organization's to sell more papers.

The FBI investigation is another thing.

Thank God gas is selling for less than @250 per gallon in Bladen County and God bless Lennon Lacy's family.

For those in the Elizabethtown area who are not aware, there is a homeless man who goes by the name of 'Frosty' walking your streets. I don't want him to be like Roger, remembered only after he is gone. My son and I have fed Frosty and Roger, and another homeless man who never gave us his name, for several Thanksgivings now. Word is that Frosty is unstable, has PTSD from military experiences and cannot be trusted. My word is, he is kind, humble, respectful, and in need. If our Amstaff says he's ok, then he's ok. Reach out to him in Christian love, please, and Thank you.
