High school football is a popular sport today and both Bladen County teams had good seasons this year..and much has been written and spoken about their winning ways.

Recently, the Elizabethtown Yellow Jacket teams from 1960 through 1964 held a reunion of sorts...a get-to-together, some 50 years after one of the greatest 5 year championship runs ever in the state of North Carolina.

Some had not seen each other for many of those years and they had never met as a group.  It was one heck-of-a-party complete with newspaper clippings, trophies and memories, lots of memories and tales and good food.
