Carolina Sands changing to Vineyard Golf At White Lake

Bill Augustine, owner of the present golf course known as Carolina Sands at White Lake, has announced that the new name will be VINEYARD GOLF AT WHITE LAKE. This change takes place immediately.

Augustine stated “We felt that with all the new changes and improvements taking place here that a new name would only enhance the enjoyment and experience of golfing at our course. With the new MiniVerde greens installed, along with all the other improvements, we really needed a fresh new name, thus VINEYARD GOLF AT WHITE LAKE. Our logo will incorporate blueberries into this new name. Not only have I been in the blueberry business in North Carolina and New Jersey but blueberries are an integral part of the economy in Bladen County. I think the golfing public will welcome our new name and logo.”

There were 6 seconds on the clock when the ball was snapped. "We lined up with trips-right (3 receivers) and with Stephon on the left," said Knight Coach Russell Dove. "Before the ball was snapped, Colby looked at me and I pointed at Stephon. Somehow Stephon went up, fought for it and got into the end zone."
