Folks lined up Saturday at Lu Mil Vineyard near Dublin to get a look at the 8th annual Christmas Light Show. The well attended first night has become an annual holiday tradition for folks far and wide including those who reside in Bladen County.

The trees and shrubbery were decked in lights that twinkled and danced to the beat of festive Christmas music.

The light show featured an array Santas including Santa on a tractor, Santa in a helicopter, snowmen families, deer, all manner of Christmas trees and toy soldiers, to name just a few decorations one will see.

The pond at Lu Mil was alive with dancing lights and decorations feature a whale waving its tail at visitors as well as a second ornament that featured a fish jumping a decorated tree.

Once folks finished the tour of the Christmas Light Show, they indulged in a delicious country buffet and little ones could spend time with Santa or ship for tasty treats in the Candy Shop.

The candy shop featured old fashioned candies and the Lu Mil gift shop was also open to visitors offering all manner of gifts for purchase.

Want to go? There is still plenty of time to enjoy the show. The Christmas Light Show will continue Sunday, Nov. 29, from 6 until 10 p.m. The light show will continue on Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 3 – 6 and Dec. 10 – 13 from 6 until 10- p.m. On Thursday, Dec. 17, continuing through Wednesday, Dec 23, the show will take place nightly from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Cost for the light show is $6 per person or $60 per vehicle for vans or buses.

The country buffet costs $11 per person plus tax and is separate from the light tour.
