Bladen-County-Board-of-ElectionsThe Bladen County Board of Elections staff report that absentee voting for the June 7 primary election is going well.

A total of 227 mail absentee ballots have been returned to the Board of Elections office out of 981 ballots that were issued and re-issued. Ballots were re-issued if a voter submitted a request wanting a ballot that was different, if they were registered as unaffiliated in March and voted Democrat.

One Stop voting begins at the Bladen County Public Library on Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. Voters will still be allowed to register and vote on the same day if they are not already registered or have previously been removed.
