Thoughts While Shaving
As of closing time Thursday, 4,677 had voted in the General Election, either absentees or one stops...
I hope you will vote..vote for the individual you believe can best do the job...
A couple of reminders regarding the election....One Stop voting ends at 1 p.m. sharp Saturday...Polls open  at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday and will close at 7:30 p.m. and BladenOnline will link to the NC State Board of Elections site to provide results, statewide and just for Bladen County.
In the meantime, Saturday before election is a great time to enjoy an early morning breakfast in the midst of politicians and their supporters, if that is what you like...Check our Upcoming Events section for sites around the county...
Frankly, I will be happy when it is over....regardless of winners...I do not believe any candidate has all the answers, do not believe that anything that has been said will change the votes of many and the candidates are not as bad as the opposing party would have you believe and not as good as the candidates would have you believe.
For far to many, and R or D behind the candidate is all that some care about and for me...I have an "I" behind my name and and proud of it...Frankly ashamed of both parties....play in the mud with ticks, you will get dirty and suffer bites...To each his/her own...
I hear the conservative and liberal pundits sharing their points of view, but the talk and the walk does not always jive....
Polls will be open bright and early Tuesday morning and close at 7:30 p.m.
Remember to move your clocks back Saturday evening.....new time begins Sunday morning..don't want to be late for church Sunday A.M.
High school football takes center stage tonight....Union at East Bladen and West Bladen at Midway.  Bladen Sports Network will broadcast the West Bladen game.
