resigned as director of the Bladen County Health
Department.
Charles Lee Campbell, Jr.,
formerly of Clarkton, was named top advisor to Lt.
Governor Jimmy Green.
Walter McDuffie of
Elizabethtown was named a regional Vice President
for the North Carolina Pest Control Association.
Representative Ron Taylor introduced a bill giving
the Bladen County Sheriff the power to issue a
handgun permit. This power had formerly been
reserved for the Clerk of Superior Court.
Ben
Davies of Clarkton was promoted to plant manager of
Mount Vernon Mills.
Robert S. Hester of
Bladenboro was appointed Cost and Accounting Manager
of West Point Pepperell in Lumberton.
