Good morning! 3 things to know for Friday, November 6
1. It’s Football Friday and the final night of the regular season. And it’s the biggest game of the year. West Bladen at East Bladen. Bladen Online will have it covered. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. We’ll have live tweets from the game @BladenOnline to keep you updated. Also, the Bladen Sports Network will broadcast the game on WODR 105.3 FM or online at coolbeach1053.com withe the pregame show to begin at 7 p.m. Should be a good one.
2. The West Bladen High School History Club is having a yard sale Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Morris Farms at 10402 N.C. 41 West, Bladenboro. There will be baked goods and hot chocolate for sale as well. Funds will go toward the club’s trip to Washington, D.C.
3. Yes, kids, parents bug you about getting to school on time. However, this isn’t what they mean. New Hampshire authorities say an 18-year-old clocked at traveling 101 mph on Interstate 93 south near Concord told police he was late for class, reports The Associated Press. Instead of speeding to school, try getting up earlier. Just a thought.
