Plans are underway for Bladen Mission 2015, an interdenominational mission project for all Junior and Senior High students in Bladen County. The dates are June 14th through the 18th and adult volunteers are needed to assist.

This year’s Mission Project will be headquartered at Wesley’s Chapel United Methodist Church on Peanut Road, about 2 miles southwest of Elizabethtown and is a joint effort of numerous churches in the area; including Clarkton First Baptist, Clarkton Presbyterian Church, Elizabethtown Baptist Church, Elizabethtown Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church of Bladenboro, Wesley’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Galeed Baptist Church, Vertical Church and the Bladen Baptist Association.

The Bladen Mission Project includes the owners of all 2015 work sites and organizations associated with the project.

Junior and senior high students will be going out Monday through Thursday and working on mission projects in Bladen County. The cost is $50 per student and checks should be made to Clarkton Presbyterian Church.

Students will be encouraged to step into the fullness of who God created them to be. It promises to be an event students and adult volunteers will remember for years to come.

Adult volunteers are needed. The volunteers must be prepared to arrive at Wesley’s Chapel multi-purpose building on Sunday, June 14 and stay through Thursday, June 18…24 hours a day.
