Released Time School Ministries will be hosting a half Marathon and 5K Cape Fear River Run on June 6th, 2015. Bruce Cannon, Bladen Baptist Association Director of Mission and member of the Released Time School Ministries Broad member said, “Our goal is for every school student around the State to hear the Good News of Salvation and to teach them those character traits they so desperately need: integrity, honesty, respect and so forth.”
To accomplish this goal funds are needed to start programs all across the state. To raise these funds Released Time School Ministries is sponsoring a half Marathon and 5K Cape Fear River Run.
If you are not able to run, you can walk. If you can’t do either, you can sponsor a youth or an adult who will run or walk. Cannon encourages everyone by saying, “Not only will this be an opportunity to raise funds, it will also be a great way for us to share the Gospel and to have some really great fellowship together.”
