A Special Message To Bladen County Voters  

Election Day is nearly here, it's the last chance to vote and I am asking for your vote for Sheriff of Bladen County.

I realize many have already cast their ballots and I appreciate all cast for me. But there are many that did not vote during Early Voting, I need your support. Many have told me you support my candidacy, I need for you to vote

I am aware that the North Carolina Board of Elections has indicated they will be coming to Bladen County to investigate charges of vote-buying.  I welcome them, and will volunteer to be the first Sheriff candidate to be

checked.  I challenge other candidates for the office to do the same, after all, we should be setting examples for others.  If there is illegal activity, my hope is that the guilty are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I support the investigation.

Let me briefly remind you of why I think I am the Right Man for the Job of Sheriff.

I have a total of 20 years of law enforcement experience, as a Town Cop, a County Deputy, all in Bladen County, and 7 years on the Drug Enforcement and Tactical Team for the City of Wilmington.

I have a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice.

Experience, Education and Support of my family and friends.

If elected I promise to fully evaluate the office of Sheriff.  I know there are some good officers and support staff in the office.  I promise to offer energetic leadership....I will lead by example. If you think a change in direction is needed, I am the person to do just that.  

We pay big bucks to cover the cost of 90 plus employees.  Do you think you are getting your money's worth?   If no, vote for me, K. Rodney Hester.
