Anyone traveling in the heart of Elizabethtown this past week couldn’t miss the road work happening. According to Town Manager, Eddie Madden, the road work is a resurfacing project including the creation of bike lanes.
Roads included in this project are Peanut Plant Road, West Broad Street and King Street. According to Madden, West Broad Street and King Street bike lanes will be connected with a bike lane on Peanut Plant Road.
The new lanes are expected to be completed and ready for riders the first of next week according to Madden.
