I am sorry Wesley Floyd is leaving West Bladen. He has been principal for a couple of years, he succeeded Toni Warwick who was there for a short time who replace Todd Finn who was there for a short time.Russell Dove has either departed the scene as head football coach, or will soon. He succeeded a coach who was there a year. The students and staff need/deserve stability at the top.
Can imagine someone asking students who graduated recently or will soon, who was principal when you were in high school? The answer, which year?

Bladen County Commissioners and Elizabethtown City Council meet Monday. Both open to the public. Commissioners meet at 6:30 p.m. at the courthouse and City Council meets at 12 noon and 7 p.m.

On this 1st day of May 2016, our 1977 featured youth team is the Tar Heel Dixie Blue team. Members included: Curtis Purdie, Shone Izzo, Roxone King, Tony Purdie, Doug Smith, Michale Inman, Thurman King, Frankie McDonald, Rosetta King, John McAllister and Kendell McAllister.
