Today is national take your pet to work day. While to some it may seem a bit troublesome to bring pets into the workplace, studies have shown that there are benefits.
According to various studies, pets in the workplace help to reduce stress levels and improve relationships among co-workers.
There are even companies that allow employees to bring their pets with them to work every day. Of course there are ground rules such as no aggressive behavior and no surprises on the break room floor. Some of the better known companies that are pet friendly include Google, Etsy, Amazon, Ben and Jerry’s, Proctor and Gamble and Build-A-Bear.
