The town of Clarkton is wrapping up a sewer slip lining project according to Town Commissioner Lawrence McDougald. He said the company has been working in the town for several weeks is finishing the scope of work they had planned.
McDougald said that by adding the slip lining to the existing sewer lines it helps them to last longer and prevents the town from having to dig up the lines and replace them as frequently.
He said the town is also still cleaning up storm debris from Hurricane Matthew.
