In administrative matters the Board approved Tax Releases ($438.26), Utility Releases ($486.12); approved the advertisement for 2015 tax liens as presented; appointed Mayor Womble as budget officer and the Board will serve as the budget committee for the fiscal year 2016/17 budget process; approved the 2016/17 fiscal year budget calendar and activities as presented; and authorized participation in the 2016 Office of the State Fire Marshall Grant application process; accepted First Bank proposal for financing of the 2016 E-One Typhoon Pumper (2.75%, First Bank will not charge a loan origination fee, loan fees, or a prepayment penalty fee).  Later in the evening a resolution was adopted authorizing the loan as part of the loan closing process.
