The Padner Group, owners of WODR FM, located in Fair Bluff, NC has reached an asset purchase agreement according to a filing with the FCC.
Radio+Television Business Report, a media publication reported the action recently. The buyer is Augusta Radio Fellowship Institute.
WODR is a Class C3 operating with 11,000 watts on 105.3 MHz. Their studios are located in Whiteville, NC.
According to the report, Padner Group sales price was $350,000.
The sale is subject to FCC approval. Millard Younts was the broker for the seller, according to the paperwork filed with the commission.
Augusta Radio Fellowship Institute owns or has owned at least 4 FM radio stations in Georgia including one in Augusta, Bryon, Sparta and Vidalia. Their format is listed as religious.
WODR’s format is beach music.
WODR is the host radio station for Bladen County high school football broadcasts.
