The Bladen County Board of Commissioners meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. for their regular meeting..
The Consent Agenda includes a Community Transportation Grant Application for FY 2016-17, a schedule of meetings for 2016 including a holiday schedule and a Hire a Vet Week Proclamation.
Commissioners will recognize Sue Lutz upon her retirement from the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, and present the Hire a Vet Week Proclamation to NC Works Manager Ann Garrett.
The Board is expected to make 9 appointments to a Strategic Planning Steering Committee. Each of the board members will name one to the committee.
Greg Martin, County Manager, will provide updates of upcoming events prior to a closed session to discuss personnel.
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the commissioners meeting room in the courthouse and is open to the public.
