Bladen County Recreation’s 12-Under Boys Basketball All-Stars were eliminated in the third round of the State-Wide Activities Committee’s Sectional Tournament in Wendell Saturday. Bladen County defeated Henderson-Vance 38-38 before losing 50-38 to the host Wendell team.
Members of the team are: Javonta Matthews, Davion Graham, Fred Munn, Jr., Anthony Mitchell, Anthony Cowan, Cameron White, Zamar Lewis, Phillip McKiver, Jacob Nixon, John Elks, Dominick Collins and Andre Moore. Head Coach is Dom Whittington. Assistant Coaches are Mike Smith and Jamar Moore.
Coach Whittington and the team thanked Tom and KeriAnn Metz for donating the jerseys that they wore this weekend.
