The Bladenboro and Clarkton Fire Departments provided mutual aid to the North Whiteville Fire Department on Friday morning for a barn fire.
The fire occurred on Peacock Road just inside the Columbus County line and claimed the barn and a pick up truck parked underneath it.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
