Boyd Lindsey won the Beast Fest 5k road race Saturday morning, beating Victor Welch by 13 seconds. Lindsey finished the race in 23 minutes, 16 seconds. Eleven-year-old Colin Britt finished third in 23:51.

Ages 36-47: 1. Kevin Willoughby, 45, 25:14; 2. Sandy Pittman, 44, 39:02.
Ages 48-59: 1. Jimmy Nance, 49, 30:32; 2. Anthony Singletary, 56, 33:12.
Ages 60 and Older: 1. Levy Welch, 69, 25:42; 2. David Evans, 70, 44:16.
