CLINTON – Unbeaten Clinton shut out West Bladen 6-0 on Monday in a Four County 1A/2A Conference match.
It’s the first time in five meetings since the teams have been in the same conference that the Knights played the entire 80 minutes against Clinton. The four previous meetings over the past two years have all ended in 9-0 “mercy” rule shutouts by Clinton.
Clinton is 5-0 in Four County games and 14-0-1 overall. West Bladen is 1-4 in league games and 4-7-2 overall. The Knights are scheduled to host Midway on Wednesday.
