West Bladen’s Chandler Lennon and Kassidy Anderson were named to the Robeson County Slugfest All-Tournament Teams. Lennon was named to the All-Slugfest Baseball Team, and Anderson was chosen for the All-Slugfest Softball Team.
Lennon batted 2-4 with a double and knocked in 2 runs in the Knights 8-7 loss to South Robeson Monday. The senior right-hander pitched a complete game and struck out 7 batters against the Mustangs. Lennon also singled Saturday against Lumberton.
Anderson singled and walloped a long double to deep right field in the Lady Knights loss to South Robeson Monday.
