The Bladen County Board of Commissioners honored Commissioner Charles Ray Peterson with a plaque and gavel for his service as 2015 Bladen County Board of Commissioners Chairman for 2015. Newly appointed Board of Commissioners Chairman Russell Priest and Vice-Chairman Arthur Bullock presented Peterson with the customized, engraved reward.
Priest noted Peterson’s dedication and hard work as a chairman of the board not only in 2015, but in years past. “His leadership brought us the new jail project this year. I graciously present this plaque and gavel,” Priest said.
