WILSON – Bladenboro native Clint Allen batted 2-3 and scored 4 runs to as his Coker Cobras rolled past Barton 22-5 Tuesday.
Allen walked and score a run in his first at-bat in Coker’s ten-run second inning. Later in the inning the West Bladen grad ripped a single through the left side to drive in a run, stole second base and scored on a wild pitch.
The senior leftfielder slammed a double to left-centerfield leading off the fourth inning. In the sixth inning Allen walked and came around to score on Thomas Lopez’ single.
Allen was hit by a pitch and scored on A. J. Strnad’s double in the seventh inning. Allen drew his third walk of the game in the eighth inning.
The Cobras improved to 10-5 with the victory.
