Clinton raced to a 21-6 first period lead and went on to defeat East Bladen 55-30 Tuesday night in Four County Conference jayvee boys basketball action at East.
Derrick Burney threw in 7 fourth quarter points and led the Eagle scoring with 11 points. Guard Messiah Leach drained a pair of 3-point shots in the final period and finished with 7 points for East Bladen.
Sophmore Chris McKnight scored all 7 of his points in the first half for the Eagles.
East Bladen is now 4-10 on the season and will host Pender Friday.
