WASHINGTON – As part of his commitment to serving all of North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District, Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) will launch regular Lumberton office hours on Thursday, March 2nd.

Congressman Pittenger’s staff will be available at Lumberton City Hall on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 9 a.m. to noon.  Lumberton City Hall is located at 500 North Cedar St., and local residents can find Congressman Pittenger’s staff on the 3rd floor.

“Do you need help cutting through red tape at the VA?  Have you been fighting the IRS or Social Security or Medicare with no success?” asked Congressman Pittenger.  “My experienced and dedicated staff has helped over 3,000 constituents resolve issues with the federal government over the past four years.  We consider it a ministry.  If you need assistance with Social Security, IRS, Medicare, Medicaid, FEMA, USDA, Veterans benefits, small business issues, passports, or other federal agencies, don’t hesitate to stop by.”

To provide easier access to all constituents, Congressman Pittenger has now opened regional offices or regularly scheduled office hours in Lumberton, Elizabethtown, Fayetteville, Laurinburg, Rockingham, Monroe, Waxhaw, Matthews, and Charlotte.  Office hours will be adjusted according to need.

Congressman Pittenger’s Robeson County office hours will be managed by Jake Cashwell, who can be reached at 910-303-0669 or jake.cashwell@mail.house.gov.
