A County-Wide Youth Rally is in the planning stages and help is needed. Mrs. Cheryl West has sent out an invitation try to reach anyone willing to assist in the project to join a meeting this Sunday, January 31st at 4pm.
Thus far the plan will be to have the event on Sunday, March 6th at the Elizabethtown Middle School gym. West said, “Biggest part is getting the kids there. Churches are going to bring their youth, but we want the unchurched, so how do we get them there?”
West suggests, “My idea is why we need as many and all the churches to commit to a perimeter in the county that they are willing to be responsible for picking up and dropping off the kids who want to attend.”
Anyone willing to help organize and carry out a county-wide youth rally is invited to come to the planning meeting this Sunday afternoon January 31st at 4:00 pm in the Elizabethtown Presbyterian Church PAC building which is behind the church on Broad Street.
West also asks everyone, “Pray about this, and pray for a clear perspective of what would be the very best for these young people.”
