DUBLIN – West Bladen fought back to take a 9-4 victory in the second game of their Dixie Pre-Majors baseball double-header Thursday night after East Columbus had took the opener 17-2.

Lefthander Jarrett Williams pitched four innings to pick up the victory in the second game. Caleb Sholar finished up on the mound for the Knights.

The Gators exploded for 8 runs in the third inning of the opener to open up a 12-2 lead. Scott Bowen started on the mound for the Knights and worked into the third inning. Trey Storms and Logan West both came on in relief in the third.

The Knights are now 2-2 in Dixie Pre-Majors action and will host South Columbus Thursday. Their game against St. Pauls that was scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed.
