FullSizeRenderThere is a chance Bladen County could see some severe weather on Wednesday as a strong cold front pushes through the area.  There is a possibility that a line of severe thunderstorms passing through the county on Wednesday morning.

Some areas could see wind gusts of up to 70 miles per hour, according to Steven Pfaff with the National Weather Service Office in Wilmington. There is also a risk for tornadoes and damaging hail.

In addition to severe weather, Pfaff said that winds will be increasing on Wednesday afternoon with as much as 40 to 50 mile per hour wind gusts. A wind advisory has been issued beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday until 8 p.m.
