Live Streaming Is Now Available
This is an awesome new feature for FB. It’s been in testing mode with celebrities for about 9 months. Now you can stream your life on Facebook. Ohhh, this could be bad!!! Reality TV for everyone!!!!
Stream your kids life events to the grandparents who live far away. I just don’t know where the bandwidth is gonna come from. I bet FB has that figured out.
Go to your main news feed.
Click on status
At the lower part of your screen above the keyboard, there is an icon with a head with a couple of circles around it.
If you don’t have it, kill your FB app and make sure you have the latest OS on your phone and the FB app update.
After you click on the streaming icon, type in a description of your live video
Just below that is a button that should say “public” or “friends”
Click on that to select your audience which can be only one person or just yourself
I believe you can geofence the video to an area.
Switch your camera to front or back as needed.
Hit the GO LIVE button
After you quit the video, a saved version will appear
in your timeline.

iOS 9.3
I just updated a lot of devices to 9.2.1 and now 9.3 is being sent out to BETA testers. Some of the new features affect education iPad users. iPads will have multiple logins so that kids can keep their own data. A new “classroom” app for teachers will add some nice features for teaching.
It also includes some improvements in Notes, Health and News.
Apple HomeKit is Ready
You can now control fans, switches, thermostats, lights and more. Some of the companies jumping on board are Honeywell, Hunter, Lutron, Kwikset, iHome, Sonos, First Alert, and more.
Be sure you have the latest Apple TV to utilize SIRI to control your gadgets.
While it’s not quite “Minority Report” capable yet, it’s a good step in that direction.
