Spread the love
A lot of baking happens around the holidays. We have a recipe we would like to share. It’s our favorite homemade chocolate chip cookies.
Ingredients:

  • sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter softened
  • cup light brown sugar
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • large eggs
  • teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • teaspoon of baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • cups chocolate chips (milk chocolate are our favorite to use)
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add batter with salt and stir in flour and chips.  Add sea salt to taste over cookies on cookie sheet.
  3. Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
