A large group of golfers showed up for the Friday After Thanksgiving Tossup at Vineyard Golf At White Lake. The weather was perfect for scoring and two teams took advantage with under par rounds.
Winning the front side, with a score of 3 under par, was George Boussais, Bobby Davis, Charles DeVane and Jimmy Davis. The backside was won, with a score of 4 under par, by the team of Pam Davis Taylor, Norgie Hester, Stacy Owen, Gary Shoak and Ed Horne.
Weather permitting, Tossups are held usually on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For information call the pro shop at 910-247-6132.
