The crowd didn’t just come out for exercise Saturday morning at the 5K Bunny Fun Run in Bladenboro, they came out to support the Bladen County Relay for Life. Otis Evans, a cancer warrior himself spear headed the event and was happy with the turn out.
According to Evans around 140 people participated in the 5K this weekend. Most know in Bladen County, Evans has a special place in his heart for Relay for Life and hopes to raise a lot of funds this year to help end cancer.
The 5K was the first of two events Evans has organized. The next will be a Golf Tournament on April 8th. READ MORE
