West Bladen’s jayvee girls moved into first place in the Four County Conference with a 41-29 basketball victory at Wallace-Rose Hill Wednesday.

It was the second straight victory for Coach Joe Lewis’ Lady Knights over Wallace-Rose Hill. West Bladen defeated the Lady Bulldogs 49-46 at West Tuesday.

West Bladen is now 4-1 in league play and 5-5 overall.

Freshman Conner Brisson fired in 12 points to lead the Lady Knight scoring. Teammate Delvondra Johnson turned in one of her best games of the season with 11 points.

Sophmore Mikayla Winebarger tossed in 10 points for the winners. Johnson and Chasitty Lacy nailed 3-point shots for West Bladen.

The Lady Knights return to action Tuesday at Pender. Gametime is 4 p.m.
