UNCW golfer and Clarkton native Kayla Thompson came in 34th place in this past weekend’s LSU Tiger Classic played in Baton Rouge, La.
Kayla, a junior at UNCW, shot rounds of 74-78-74=226 to lead the Lady Seahawks to a tie for 9th place. The winning team were the Lady Blue Devils from Duke University.
The final tournament of the season will be the Clemson Invitational to be played March 31, April 1-2 in Clemson, S.C. The CAA tournament will be held in Williamsburg, Virginia on April 14-15-16.
