A Mini Tractor Pull with the Lumber River Pullers was held at Kyle’s Farm on Ward Road on Saturday afternoon. Scorching temperatures climbing as high as 99 degrees didn’t slow the competition.
Folks came out to cheer on their favorite pullers and enjoy great fellowship and games as well. While folks enjoyed fun in the sun, there was also the opportunity to tour the “pit area” and see some of the racing tractors up close.
One class saw three competitors earn a full-pull meaning they traveled the complete 300-foot length of the track. This resulted in a pull-off to determine the eventual winner.
The pull attracted young and old like trying their hand at pulling a weighted machine as far as they could on the dirt track.
A great time was had by everyone that attended the event.
