Bladenboro’s Bulldogs completed a 38-8 victory over Tar Heel Monday in Bladen Five Middle School Football action. The game was suspended 30 seconds into the second half Thursday night when the lights at Bladenboro went out.
Trashawn Ballard and Da’Shawn Hines both ran for touchdowns Monday. It was the second touchdown of the game for Hines who had scored a touchdown in Thursday’s first half of action.
ShyRon Adams carried into the end zone for the 2-point conversion following Ballard’s touchdown. Adams had scored two touchdowns in Thursday night’s first half.
Bladenboro improves to 2-0 on the season and will host 2-0 Elizabethtown Thursday night in a showdown for first place in the Bladen Five. Tar Heel returns home Thursday night to entertain Clarkton School of Discovery.
