Sarah Benson readily admits she loves racing in the U-Car division at Dublin Motor Speedway. Saturday night, she had one wild ride.

Benson went low in between turns one and two on the 4/10ths-mile dirt oval trying to make a pass on lap 9 of the 15-lap race. She ended up upside down for a few minutes before being helped out of her vehicle unharmed.

“I’m OK,” Benson said. “I was just trying to make a pass and got down in that mud at the bottom.”

Benson’s car hit the guardrail before flipping and landing on its roof. It took a few minutes for track workers to get her out of the car, but once out, she was walking around and talking to people, although her racing suit was covered in mud.
