Jamie-ParrishLUMBERTON – A prisoner who was scheduled to be transferred to face charges in Wayne County escaped Thursday night from the Robeson CRV Center, according to the N.C. Department of Public Safety. He was discovered missing about 10 p.m. Thursday.

Jamie Parrish, 40, was serving his final day of a 90-day sentence for a violation of his post-release supervision at the Robeson County facility. However, he was scheduled to be tranferred to Wayne County on Friday to face charges there for larceny, possession of stolen goods, driving while impaired and other driving offenses, according to the Department of Public Safety.

Anyone who has seen Parrish should contact local law enforcement or the Department of Public Safety at 910-618-5535.

Confinement in Response to Violation (CRV) centers house and provide intensive behavior modification programs for those who have committed technical violations of probation. CRV centers incarcerate violators for 90-day periods in response to violations of probation, parole or post-release supervision as provided in the Justice Reinvestment Act of 2011.
